This is Stacey’s 5th year working at Shelby Township Parks & Rec.’s Summer Day Camp and she is super excited for this summer! She is a graduate of Oakland University with a degree in Elementary Education. She has wanted to be a teacher ever since she was little and loves working with kids. Stacey’s favorite games at camp are Calling All Cars and Kickball. Her favorite camp memory is Harry Potter week from last year where she helped lead Slytherin to win the House Cup. In her free time, Stacey enjoys reading and playing video games.
This is Allie's third year working with Shelby Township Parks and Rec. She graduated from Oakland University with a bachelors degree in elementary education and a social studies certification. Since graduation, Allie has had the amazing opportunity to work in many different schools with students of all ages. In her free time, she enjoys reading, movies, and being outside! Her favorite camp activities include Calling All Cars, kickball, and any arts and crafts. Allie loves working with kids, and is excited to see what camp adventures this summer brings!
Gabrielle Dudgeon

This is Gabrielle Dudgeon and this is her third year working at the summer day camp. She is a 22 year old student at Oakland University majoring in Elementary Education. She has a passion for working with kids and hopes to become an elementary school teacher one day. She is looking forward to these 8 weeks and thinks it is such an enjoyable and fun job so it makes it easy for her to come into work everyday!

This is Aly's first year at Summer Recreation. She plays softball and shoots archery. She enjoys watching sports, such as football and baseball. She likes to read and play video games as well as watching moives and reading about the Marvel and DC Comics.
Dominic Aluia

Dominic is a Sophomore at Michigan State University studying environmental geoscience. This will be his second year working at Summer Camp. In his free time he enjoys running, biking and playing soccer.
Marissa Cavataio

This is Marissa's second year working as a recreational aide at summer camp. She is going into her Sophomore year of college at Central Michigan Univeristy, where she is majoring in recreation event management and minoring in advertising and leadership. In her free time she enjoys running and being active. Her favorite camp activities are calling all cars and lightning. She is excited for another adventure filled summer working at camp!
Nathan Wright
Playground Aide
Nathan is 20 years old and is majoring in elementary education at Oakland University. He is going into his junior year. He has been a part of the Parks and Recreation Department for 2 years now and is looking forward to another great year at Summer Rec!
Shelby Toft
Playground Aide
Shelby is the oldest of 13 cousins and has been babysitting since 4th grade. The past five years she has worked at a daycare as an assistant teacher. She is currently studying elementary education at Oakland University with a major in Language Arts and an Early Childhood Endorsement. She is looking forward to student teaching in a Kindergarten classroom in the Fall. In her spare time she enjoys being outside, running, and spending time with family.
